This is a great camera for anyone who has had a Olympus Stylus in the past. After buying this i had so many people asking me about it that three family members went out and got the same camera. I think it is the best camera on the market right now. It comes with a XD card reader that a Micro SD card can be put into and than used with the camera. Great idea since the Micro SD card come in 8 gigs. great camera.

Could not be happier with the Olympus Stylus 9000 12 MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Black). With a price point of $179, there are plenty of elite features, principally: 12 mega pixels resolution, a remarkable 10x optical zoom, and wide angle capability. Canon and Kodak have responded with similarly featured cameras at about the same price, but offerings from Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm and Panasonic cost as much as $110 more. It should also be noted that these features - 12mp, 10x optical zoom - constitute impressive leaps in point-and-shoot camera sophistication, compared to what was available just three or four years ago.
And this camera is so gorgeous! Sleek black with silver trim, it might be the best looking digital camera I've ever seen. The Stylus 9000's 2.7 inch LCD display is three-tenths of an inch smaller than the 3-incher some of the others have, but the looks of this camera more than compensate.

I take pix all day every day. I'm a visual artist, photographer, illustrator, blogger.
I've never enjoyed a camera as much as I've enjoyed this one.
For the price, I find the lens quality to be outstanding, the zoom is sufficient, the macro and super-macro are wonderful tools.
I've tried Canon digital cameras, kodak digital cameras... they just don't hold a candle to Olympus.
Dropped this camera in the pond yesterday (waterproof is not one of its features) , and am buying a brand new one today.
Can't live without it.

very good buy I do not regret, excellent pictures, I be inaccuracies with the quality of the pictures both day and night very good easy to use, the zoom incredible, really recommend it 100%, as I've had to olympus olympus cameras above and the service is good anywhere in the world, atleast here in Venezuela
